Magda Barecka, an assistant professor of chemical engineering and chemistry and chemical biology at Northeastern University, has been turning carbon dioxide into ethanol. In her effort to create a fossil fuel-free world, Barecka and her team are working to create a zero-emissions energy source to power the chemical reactor that drives this change.

Efficiency can cut EV Prices by $5k and charging costs by nearly a third

Boosting energy efficiency extends the range of batteries in EV’s and may have implications for decreasing battery size. This innovation can lower charging costs and lessen the demand on the grid. See more benefits of boosting energy efficiency here.
